Wisconsin AHEC is now recruiting students for the Winter and Spring 2027 Community Health Immersion experiences.
These immersive learning opportunities allow students to connect with communities, explore local health challenges, and better understand the social and community factors that influence health. Experiences are available virtually and in person across Wisconsin, with topics including mental health, food insecurity, rural health, emergency medicine, substance use recovery, aging, and more.
Program details:
– Virtual and in-person experiences available January through April 2027
– Optional course credit may be available
– Program fee: $200 for in-person experiences or $50 for virtual experiences
– Need-based scholarships available
