Research & Scholarly Awards

Each year in the fall semester, the School of Nursing offers several research and scholarship awards to provide BSN Honors Program, DNP, and PhD students with funding to support their passion for discovery and offset research and scholarship-related expenses.

The annual School of Nursing Research and Scholarship Awards are provided to support student research and scholarship, and specifically data collection, the development of research ideas or scholarly interests, professional development, and other research-related activities.

Travel Scholarships

The School of Nursing encourages students to participate in research and explore professional organization projects that enhance their educational experience and improve the lives of others. Funding is limited and not all students who request a travel scholarship will receive one. Preference will be given to students who are presenting over those attending as participants.

The school, via the Office of Academic Affairs, will provide funds for travel support. Each student may request funding for one travel scholarship per academic year.

For students asked to attend a conference as a representative of the School of Nursing, all reasonable travel expenses will be considered.
