Are you interested in working on an NIH-funded behavioral clinical trial to improve diabetes care for individuals with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes in Madison? The ENRxICH study is looking for students in the Madison area to join our team to help with participant screenings including hemoglobin A1c checks and surveys.
We are looking for nursing students who have availability September-December 2026. Students must be available weekly for a minimum of at least one 4-hour block of time on weekdays between 9 am and 8 pm. Travel will be required in the Madison area. Having access to a car is preferred but not required. A research team member may ride together on occasions.
What you can look forward to: 1) Learn how to check A1c using a point-of-care Abbott Afinion 2 analyzer, 2) Interact with participants in a real-world setting, 3) Learn about randomized controlled behavioral clinical trials
Earn credits or compensation as a UW-Madison student hourly position (Maximum of 20 hours per week)
