The School of Nursing has been asked by a researcher at the Immigrant Student Research Project Lab at Brown University to notify graduate students in our School of Nursing about an opportunity to participate in a research study. The study aims to examine the educational experiences of first-and second-generation immigrant students. Based on findings from this study, the research team is seeking to inform research findings and policy briefs to better support this student population in the U.S.
The investigator is recruiting graduate students who identify as first-and second-generation immigrant students. This includes international students and students of all legal statuses. If you meet these criteria and are interested in participating you can click on the survey link below. Responses are completely anonymous. Participants who complete the survey are entered into a raffle for one of 300 $100 gift cards.

This study has been approved by the IRB committee at the researcher’s home institution. It is not an expectation that you participate. This is something you can do if you wish. Faculty at the UW-Madison School of Nursing will not know who decides to participate. If you have any questions about the study, please contact the study lead: Kevin Escudero, PhD (immigrantstudentproject@brown.edu).
