What is the Nursing Learning Center?

A place where students can gather with like-minded, focused, and enthusiastic students to improve not only their understanding of the course material but of their own learning styles.

Support Services Offered:

Help with prerequisite courses, nursing courses, writing, well being, NCLEX preparation, and clinicals.

Fall NCLEX Support

Fall support includes exam overview, highlighting various types of questions and how to approach them.

Overview Sessions:

Two NCLEX overview sessions.  Dates for 2019 TBD.

One KAPLAN overview session.  Date for 2019 TBD.

One HURST overview session.  Date for 2019 TBD.

Spring NCLEX Support

Spring support includes review of multiple topics, covering numerous NCLEX style exam questions.

Weekly Review Sessions:

  • Tuesdays, 4:00-5:00pm, Cooper Hall 1321

Review sessions start on 1/29/19 and end on 4/30/19.  There is no review session during spring break (3/19/19).

NCLEX Licensure Information Sessions:

  • Tuesday, 2/26, in N445 for 2nd year students
  • Wednesday, 2/27, 1:00-2:00pm, 2305, for ABSN students
