What is the Nursing Learning Center?

A place where students can gather with like-minded, focused, and enthusiastic students to improve not only their understanding of the course material but of their own learning styles.

Support Services Offered:

Help with prerequisite courses, nursing courses, writing, well being, NCLEX preparation, and clinicals.

Fall NCLEX Support

Fall support includes exam overview, highlighting various types of questions and how to approach them. Weekly reviews cover multiple topics with numerous NCLEX style exam questions.

OVERVIEW SESSIONS:

  • September 24, 1-2pm, Rm 1321; November 5, 1-2pm, Online (NCLEX Canvas page) – for 2nd year/ABSN students, same content covered at each session.

WEEKLY REVIEW SESSIONS:

Spring NCLEX Support

Spring support includes review of licensure application and registering for the NCLEX.  Weekly reviews cover multiple topics with numerous NCLEX style exam questions.

LICENSURE APPLICATION AND REGISTERING FOR THE NCLEX INFO SESSIONS:

  • TBSN Students: January 23, during N446 Seminar
  • ABSN Students:  January 22, during N446 Seminar
