BSN to Master of Public Health

This unique degree option gives undergraduate nursing students the opportunity to seek early admission to the Master of Public Health (MPH) program and enroll in selected MPH courses while completing requirements for the BSN. Students are able to complete both degrees (the BSN and the MPH) over five years (three years from admission to the nursing program). Graduates are prepared for a wide range of nursing and public health practice positions.

Interested students apply during their first year in the Traditional BSN (TBSN) program; applications are due mid-January. Changes to the student’s curriculum, to incorporate MPH courses in addition to the required nursing courses, occur during the second year of the TBSN program.

For more information on the MPH program, including admission requirements and the application link, visit the Master of Public Health Program website.
