Beacon Specialized Living in Madison is looking for students to work as Direct Support Professionals. They have openings for all shifts and the pay is $16.50/hour.
These positions support adults with developmental disabilities and mental illnesses in our group homes, which typically serve 1–4 clients. Some homes require additional personal care support, such as assistance with toileting, bathing, and changing briefs. Others may involve helping manage behavioral challenges, including verbal or physical aggression. Staff also assist with daily routines like cooking, cleaning, transportation, and building meaningful relationships with the clients.
No prior experience is required. Beacon provides thorough onboarding, including initial orientation, hands-on training within the homes, and ongoing professional development.
