Camp Birch Trail (Northern WI) is currently hiring seasonal Registered Nurses and Nurse Aides to join our health center team this coming summer, and we’d love to share this opportunity with your students or recent graduates.
What the Nursing Role Looks Like:
Our health center is staffed by a team of nurses who work collaboratively alongside our camp doctors (MDs who live on-site in rotation). It’s a supportive, well-resourced environment, and nurses are never working alone.
Responsibilities include:
Basic primary care
Medication management
Injury treatment and first aid
Health assessments
Communicating with families
Supporting camper wellbeing and emotional health
It’s an excellent fit for nurses who enjoy pediatrics, community health, school-based care, or those who want hands-on experience in a collaborative setting with children and adolescents.
