The Tommy Thompson Leadership Award is an up to $3,000 award recognizing undergraduates who have worked in public or community service and/or demonstrated leadership. The deadline to apply for this opportunity is October 19, 2025. Applications should be submitted through WiSH.
UW-Madison undergraduates from any school or college with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 can apply. This is a state-wide award from the Tommy Thompson Center. UW-Madison applicants are reviewed by a university panel. Selected finalists are forwarded to a state-wide committee for selection of the award which is paid out in Spring 2026.
