Opportunity for DNP students in psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program to participate in a research study

The School of Nursing has been asked by a doctoral student in the Medical/Clinical Psychology program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham to notify students in our accredited psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner DNP program about the opportunity to participate in a research study.  The purpose of the study is to examine mental health trainees’ personalities and beliefs around various domains of mental health treatment, including perceptions of evidence-based practices, theoretical orientations, and other domains related to psychology and/or mental health. This study has been approved by the IRB committee at the researcher’s home institution. It is not an expectation that you participate. This is something you can do if you wish. Faculty at the UW-Madison School of Nursing will not know who decides to participate. If you choose to participate you will be asked to complete an online survey. If you have any questions about the study, please contact the study lead: Drew Whittington (whitdrew@uab.edu).

If you are interested in participating, the survey is available.
