Hello,
The next application window for the Advanced Practice Provider Hematology/Oncology Post-graduate Fellowship program within the Knight Cancer Institute at Oregon Health & Science University opened on December 1, 2024!
Over the course of 12 months, APP fellows will receive clinical and 1:1 didactic education to gain hands-on experience while building a knowledge base across the continuum of oncology care, from early diagnosis through survivorship or end-of-life care. Clinical rotations encompass a variety of oncology sub-specialties including:
- Hematologic malignancies
- Autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation
- CAR-T and other novel cellular therapies
- Solid tumor malignancies, incorporating surgical, radiation, and medical oncology
- Supportive therapeutics such as palliative care, benign hematology, and infectious disease
- Weekly continuity clinic with one of our community hematology/oncology partners
- Extended rotation in a specialized area of their choosing over the last two months of training
2-3 candidates will be accepted into the program each year. Eligible candidates must be new graduates of an accredited PA or NP master’s program, have unencumbered licensure, and be eligible for board certification. Fellows will receive a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including a stipend for educational/CME opportunities.
Our application window will remain open through February 28, 2025 with virtual and in-person interviews in the late winter and early spring of 2025. Fellowship begins January 5, 2026.
As a world-renowned leader in the development of personalized cancer medicine, the Knight Cancer Institute at Oregon Health & Science University is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center between Sacramento and Seattle.
