The Delta Program’s Research Mentor Learning Communities for graduate students and postdocs are interactive, case scenario-based seminars designed to help you become the mentor you want to be (now or in the future). Topics include communicating effectively, aligning expectations, and promoting diversity, inclusion, and a sense of belonging. On-line and in-person sections are available, beginning in January.
Graduate Students – Research Mentor Learning Communities
A Delta’s Research Mentor Learning Community is designed for graduate students who are mentoring and for whom mentoring may be an important part of a future career. The learning community explores a rich, evidence-based curriculum where you will share ideas, experiences and practices. It gives you space to reflect and reinvigorate, as you build concrete tools to support a successful mentor/mentee relationship.
Graduate students can count this seminar as an elective toward the Higher Education Teaching and Learning, Graduate/Professional Certificate.
