The Fall 2024 DNP Bootcamp for all new DNP students is scheduled for Tuesday August 27th. The general program will take place from 9:00am until 1:00pm, followed by specialty tract breakout time from 1:00pm until appx. 4:00pm. Attendance is optional, however students are highly recommended to attend if able. There will be a zoom link for the general session for individuals who would like to attend but cannot do so in person. The zoom link will be included with the calendar invite that will be sent out within the next several days.
Topic that will be covered include important dates and course schedules, clinical placement and expectations, an APA writing workshop, professionalism and academic integrity. There will also be plenty of time to ask questions and address issues and/or concerns. There will be a 15 minute break at the beginning of the general session with refreshments (food and drink) provided, as well as a lunch from 12:00pm-1:00pm in which lunch will be provided. Following the general program, specialty tracts may offer additional breakout sessions to address cohort-specific topics.
