FREE Summer Art at the Terrace Art Zone!

Mark your calendars for this summer’s Terrace Art Zone! Located outdoors on the Memorial Union Terrace, the Terrace Art Zone is a delightful place to spend time with friends or family. Each week, they will feature a different project, ranging from watercolor paintings to beaded keychains and painted birdhouses. The Art Zone is FREE and open to all ages and skill levels. Instructions and materials provided. Plus, check out the Art Card, located right next to the Art Zone, for handmade gifts by Wheelhouse students and DIY projects you can take with you and complete at home!

The Terrace Art Zone is open May 19 – August 17, 2024, every Wednesday-Saturday from 5-8pm. In the case of inclement weather, Terrace Art Zone may close or move indoors.

June 5-9
Create a decorative star (or other shape of your choice!) with colorful buttons.

Bright Beaded Keychains
June 12-16
Using a range of colorful beads, create your own unique keychain that includes your name or favorite phrase!

Yarn-Wrapped Bottles & Vases
June 19-22
Create your own yarn-wrapped bottle or vase.

Upcycled CD Sun Catchers
June 26-29
Create your own sun catcher from upcycled CDs.
