The Latinx Academic Staff Association (LASA) of UW-Madison and the Wisconsin Alumni Association: Latinx Affinity Group (LAG), will host an in-person, all-campus Latine graduation celebration for undergraduate, graduate, and professional Latine/x/o/a and Hispanic identifying students on Saturday, May 4th from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. It will be a time to acknowledge our students’ dedication, perseverance, and accomplishments.
This ceremony celebrates the 7.1% of UW-Madison’s student body that identifies as Latine, including both undergraduates, graduates, and professionals.Graduates will have an opportunity to receive a graduation medal, take pictures, and celebrate in community over brunch. If you are interested in attending, please complete the registration survey no later than Monday, April 18th!
