The UW-Madison Posse Program is seeking four Posse Mentors to join the UW Posse team and help support Posse Scholars personally, professionally, and academically! The Posse Program, established at UW-Madison in 2002, has approximately 160 active undergraduate scholars each year from four major U.S. cities – Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and New York. A “posse” is a group of 10 students from each city who are attending UW-Madison on a merit and leadership scholarship selected in partnership with the National Posse Foundation. We are looking for dynamic graduate students who have a passion for mentorship and thrive in a community working to support undergraduate scholars. These positions are a 2-year commitment and Posse Mentors must be able to attend two brief summer trainings prior to beginning the PA appointment (see PVL for dates). Additionally, these four graduate assistantships are eligible for tuition remission, a monthly stipend, and health insurance.
To apply, please complete the Posse Mentor application by Sunday, March 3, 2024 (11:55pm CST).
