The Gold Humanism Honor Society invites you to share your story at “A Night of Storytelling.” This is a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals and trainees to share a personal experience centered around a theme of their choosing, related to their journey in healthcare. These can be personal stories or reflections on your role within the healthcare field.
You can submit your idea here through a short form that requires only a brief 100-word pitch about the story you want to share. Final stories will be 5-10 minutes in oral form ( ~750 to 1000 words). If your pitch is selected, you will be invited to share that story during our March “A Night of Storytelling” event. We can accommodate in-person and virtual storytellers.
See the attached flier for more information about event details, guidelines for pitch submission, and ideas to help you get started! Need more inspiration? Listen to “The Nocturnists”, “The Moth”, or other similar storytelling podcasts.
Submission Deadline: February 16, 2024. You will hear about final selections by February 29, 2024. Please let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to reading your pitch!
