Wisconsin Health Literacy (WHL) is expanding its traditional Health Literacy Summit by partnering with eight other states to host the first Health Literacy Collaborative Summit on April 8 and 9, 2024 at Monona Terrace in Madison, Wisconsin.

Global Learning Objectives
1. Discuss ways the interprofessional health care team communicates about and integrates health literacy into prevention or management of disease and health promotion
2. Explain how to use health literacy practices and principles in different contexts
3. Identify skills and strategies to use when working with different communities and/or to design relevant health programs or resources
4. Describe factors to consider when helping consumers find, understand, and use health information and manage their health
Final selections will be made by the Planning Committee. Poster presenters will be notified of their selection by Friday, March 8, 2024. Preference will be given to proposals on the following topics Health Literacy in Schools, Digital Health Literacy (including AI), Health Insurance Literacy, and General Health Literacy.
There is a reduced rate for students of only $150 to attend both days of the conference.
