PALS Programs is a national nonprofit hosting week-long overnight summer camp programs on college and university campuses across the country. Their programs pair Partners with Down syndrome 1-1 with Peer volunteers without Down syndrome, who share a dorm room together throughout the week and participate in a variety of on- and off-campus activities. They are recruiting Peer participants age 15+ to earn up to 100 hours of volunteer service in a week with them and there is no cost to be a peer volunteer! PALS host camps nationally with camps located in Chicago and Cleveland! Peers take their PALS experience with them in their personal and professional lives, often joining us for many summers. Consider joining PALS for the fun and complete a short interest form found HERE. Questions can be directed to Lauren at support@palsprograms.org.
