In an effort to provide financial assistance and to acknowledge and award those pursuing a career in Nursing, the RACINE/KENOSHA WI CHAPTER of the National Black Nurses Association (RKWCNBNA) will offer scholarships to students of African American descent. Candidates should submit an application along with letters of support. Additional items to support your application may include documented evidence of Awards, Honors, and volunteer efforts in the underserved community.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a Nursing Program (LPN, ADN, BSN, MSN, PhD.)
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA for undergraduate and a 3.0 GPA for graduate students
- Willingness to be an active working member of the RKWCNBNA
Scholarship Application Instructions:
- Only completed applications will be accepted
- Attach a current copy of your official school transcript to the application
- Attach 2 signed letters of recommendation to your application
- One faculty letter from the School of Nursing you are attending
- One from any of the following: family member, community organization, social club, etc.
- Deadline for submitting is August 31, annually
