Congratulations to Jen Stevens and Dr. Kris Kwekkeboom!
Jen Stevens was awarded the Beta Eta at-Large Graduate Research Award grant to support the study Cancer-Related Distress Profiles and Associated Factors. The study is funded by the Beta Eta-at-Large Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International. The primary research aim of this dissertation work is to explore associations between observed patterns and patients’ demographic and clinical variables to define subgroups of individuals with shared sources of cancer-related distress. Dr. Kwekkeboom will serve as Jen Stevens’ mentor on the project. The project also benefits from a collaboration with the UW Carbone Cancer Center. The total award is $1,000.
