Nursing/Pharm674; Seminars in Interprofessional Mental Health Care

Calling all nursing students -TBSN, ABSN, DNP and PhD! Are you interested in mental health and want an opportunity to take a deeper dive into the field? Come join us in Nursing/Pharm674; Seminars in Interprofessional Mental Health Care. N/Pharm674 is a two credit interprofessional course that meets every other week on Mondays from 3-5pm in Cooper Hall.

The goals for this course are for students to develop a greater understanding of psychotropic drug therapy and the role of healthcare providers in the treatment of people who live with mental illness. We will discuss and explore mental health from various perspectives including but not limited to healthcare, ethical, legal, cultural, and social perspectives.
