Pharmacy Practice (PHRM) 728-467 Interprofessional Collaborative Practice in HIV Care
A one-credit elective course offered through the School of Pharmacy in collaboration with the Midwest AIDS Training and Education Center-Wisconsin (MATEC-WI). Through this unique learning opportunity, open to medical, nursing, social work, and pharmacy students, participants will gain foundational knowledge and skills in interprofessional collaborative practice and HIV care.
The course utilizes a blended learning model and includes in-person/synchronous class meetings and asynchronous course work along with linkages to patient care. In-person class meetings will occur on six Mondays from 5:30pm – 8:00pm over the fourteen weeks of spring semester : January 30, February 6 & 20, March 6, April 10, and May 1.
