Interested in getting more engaged with the Madison community? UW offers over 60 community-based learning courses per semester across multiple schools and colleges, allowing students to meaningfully explore their interests and learn more about the community! The Morgridge Center for Public Service will be hosting an online info session on Community-based Learning Courses Monday, November 14th from 4 to 4:30pm (see flyer). Anyone interested can register to attend here. We’ll also be posting the session to our Youtube channel, once finished.
At this info session, you’ll learn how these courses can fit into your educational journey. Community-based learning courses have many excellent outcomes for students, including: Real world experience; professional skill building; increased self-awareness; feeling more connected to peers and community.
