Seeking Student Body Representatives for the School of Nursing Wellness Committee!

The School of Nursing is seeking nominations for undergraduate and graduate students to serve as student body representatives on the Wellness Committee. These are important positions to represent your peers and bring forth ideas and concerns from the student body.

Click this LINK to self-nominate or nominate another individual by Friday, November 11th, at 3pm. You will need the email address of the person you are nominating.  To submit additional nominations, please submit a new form for each nomination.

 Committee Objective:

Advise and assist in the development and enhancement of a culture of wellness to improve population health and wellbeing of students, faculty, and staff through wellness initiatives. Wellness initiatives may include implementing wellness activities, advising on policies and procedures surrounding the School’s culture of wellness, advising SoN committees and leaders on how to incorporate wellness initiatives, and collaborating with students and peers in the support of individual and collective wellbeing.

Meetings:

Our committee typically meets for one hour per month. Meetings are held virtually and in-person. The expectation is that students participate through attendance at the monthly meetings; however, if there are course conflicts, participation by discussing agenda items with the chairs of the committee is acceptable. Fall meeting times are listed below. Spring meeting times are to be determined.

  • Wednesday, November 16th: 11:30am-12:30pm
  • Monday, December 5th: 10am-11am
