Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 5th from 12:00-6:00 p.m. as the UW Madison Art Department once again hosts their Annual Open Studio Day 2022! This annual autumn arts celebration event is free and open to the public! Meet the student artists, see their work, and get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into their working process. As an added treat, celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Glass area, also the first academic glass lab in the country!
In both of the buildings that house UW Art operations—the 6th and 7th floors of the Humanities Building and the Art Lofts—more than 50 studios will be open to showcase multidisciplinary graduate and undergraduate students. In addition to the open studios, artist talks, workshops, and student demonstrations will be available throughout the day. Student organizations will have work for sale, so be sure to stop by the Art Lofts and Mosse Humanities buildings for Open Studio Day!
