The Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) is now accepting application to join its Class of 2023. The University of Wisconsin-Madison partners with CGI U to support enrolled students who have committed to take action in order to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges. Student apply with a “Commitment to Action”: a new, specific, and measurable initiative that addresses an issue on their campus, in their local community, or even globally. These commitments can be in the ideation, implementation, or even the scaling phases.
Accepted students will have access to:
- A terrific social impact curriculum
- High-tough mentorship
- Funding to help make ideas a reality
- Funded engagement events, including the Annual Meeting at Vanderbilt University

A casual campus information session will be held on Wed. Oct. 26, 2022 from 12pm-1pm in the Prairie Fire Coffee shop in Union South – students can look for the CGI U sign.
