The School of Nursing is seeking nominations for undergraduate and graduate students to serve as student body representatives on three committees. These are important positions to represent the student perspective and bring forth ideas and concerns from the study body.

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee
Role: Represents the interests of the School in advancing inclusive excellence and promote an open and welcoming environment that values diversity and inclusion.

Undergraduate Curriculum Committee
Role: Provides oversight for undergraduate programs, identifies emerging trends or considerations across curricula, examines evaluation across curricula, and makes recommendations to the Academic Planning Council on issues relevant to the UW-Madison nursing curricula.

1 Traditional BSN Student – TBSN 1st or 2nd year (1-year term)
1 Accelerated BSN Student – ABSN (1-year term)
Graduate Programs Committee
Role: Provides faculty oversight for graduate programs, identifies emerging trends or considerations across graduate curricula, examines evaluation across graduate curricula, and makes recommendations to Academic Planning Council on issues relevant to graduate nursing curricula. Represents the faculty with regard to all aspects of graduate admissions, progression, and student success. Two graduate student members are elected by graduate students for one‐year terms. PhD and DNP programs will be represented. Student members may participate during discussion of agenda items related to curricula, admissions requirements, recruitment, and program expectations but will not participate in discussion of agenda items relating to admissions or individual student progression.
