This is a unique opportunity to contribute to an early care and education health consultation pilot program to help guide early care and education providers/programs through health-related needs. This position will report to Dr. Dipesh Navsaria, Clinical Professor with appointments in both the UW-Madison School of Human Ecology and UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health Pediatrics Department. This position will be an employee in the School of Human Ecology. The Nurse Consultant will work in collaboration with Dr. Navsaria, the project team, the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services to offer tailored consultation, create a centralized hub of resources to help early childhood education providers adopt and understand the Caring for Our Children (CFOC) guidelines and safety policies, and contribute to offering trainings.
