“Write Winning NIH Grant Proposals” Seminar

There’s still time to register for the virtual seminar “Write Winning NIH Grant Proposals,” but don’t wait. Registration closes March 9.

This popular presentation sponsored by the Department of Medicine’s (DOM) Office of Research Services and delivered by John Robertson, PhD, of Grant Writers’ Seminars and Workshops is being held Thursday and Friday, April 7-8, 2022, from 9 am to 12:30 pm each day.

Dr. Robertson provides principles and fundamentals of good proposal writing as well as “how-to” practical tips and strategies designed to merit a fundable priority score. Developing ideas, maximizing programmatic relevance, selecting correct grant mechanisms, and utilizing the review process are just a few of the topics covered.

Attendees are also taught strategies and provided illustrations on each part of an application as well as writing with a linear progression of logic. This writing skill not only leads reviewers through applications but makes them want to read them as well!

There is no cost to those who are part of DOM.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity! It won’t be offered again until 2024.
