Research Opportunity – Big10 Survey on The State of Faculty, Staff, and Student Health, Wellness and Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors

The School of Nursing has been asked by colleagues in the Big 10/National Wellness Action Alliance (of which we are a member, represented by Dr. Katie Pavek) to share an opportunity to participate in a research study titled The State of Faculty, Staff and Student Health, Wellness and Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors in Big 10Colleges. The Study has been approved by The Ohio State University Institutional Review Board.

This study is well-aligned with our own School’s current goal to develop and enhance a culture of wellness to improve population health and wellbeing of students, faculty, and staff through wellness initiatives. The School has recently established a Wellness Advisory-Action Committee, chaired by Dr. Katie Pavek, to implement wellness activities, advise on policies and procedures surrounding the School’s culture of wellness, advise School of Nursing committees and leaders on how to incorporate wellness initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders across the School in the support of individual and collective wellbeing.

It is not an expectation that you participate in this study.  This is something you can do if you wish.  Faculty and leaders at the UW-Madison School of Nursing will not know who decides to participate. However, summary results for our School will be shared at the completion of the study and can be used to guide our future wellness goals and activities.

A document with additional details on the study is attached.

If you are interested in participating, you may access the survey directly at: https://osu.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5at6xoLkWXcs8ku
