Wisconsin Health Literacy is accepting posters from students who have done work in health literacy for the 2022 Health Literacy Summit Embracing Health Literacy in the New Normal: Digital Communications, Telehealth, Health Insurance, and Health Equity on April 4-6th, 2022. The poster session will take place the evening of Tuesday, April 5th.
Participating in the poster session is a great way to share information about your project, meet people in the healthcare field in Wisconsin and nationwide, and learn from other health literacy projects. Posters should demonstrate the value of using health literacy to improve varied aspects of health and the healthcare experience, including patient safety, cost, public health messaging, patient/member experience and satisfaction, health outcomes, patient engagement, digital communications, telehealth, using health insurance, and health equity.
There is no cost for students to participate in the poster session. There is a discounted rate of $150 for students who wish to attend the full Summit.
Please email an abstract to Julia Norton (julia@wisconsinliteracy.org) by January 30th, 2022. There is a 300-word limit for the abstract, not including the title. Please include the name, area of study, and school name for all presenters. You will be notified if accepted before February 28th, 2022.
