Research opportunity with focus on mental health and qualitative methods

The W.S. Middleton Memorial VA Hospital is looking to hire a full-time research assistant at the GS-7 level (requires a bachelors + at least one year of graduate study OR relevant experience). This person will job share between the two labs, both within mental health and focused on qualitative projects as well as other methodologies. One project is focused on improving mental health services and family caregiver involvement for older Veterans with dementia. Anticipated start date would be January 1, 2022.

Though it is listed as a temporary position, we are hoping to find someone who has a strong interest in Veteran health and building a career at the VA, whom we can train and support in developing expertise to carry forward to future VA research studies.
