The Greater University Tutoring Service (GUTS) is hiring Academic Peer Tutors for their Academic Match (AM) Program and for Drop-In (DI) Program for the 2021-22 academic year!
GUTS is hiring tutors in various Chemistry, Math, Economics, Physics, Biology, Statistics, and Psychology courses. In the AM program, one tutor meets with a small group of tutees (3-8 tutees in each group) for 2 hours/week throughout the semester. Tutors will be responsible for meeting with 1-2 small groups and should plan to work 3.5-7 hours/week. In the DI program, tutors meet 1:1 with students who drop in during program hours.
This academic year, GUTS is partnering with the Transfer Transition Program in the Center for the First-Year Experience to hire Drop-In Program tutors to work specifically with the UW-Madison transfer student population in the Transfer Engagement Center (TEC) located in the Middleton Building.
The application is open until Thursday, August 5 @ 11:59 PM. Check out the position description/information and application instructions for both of these tutor positions through the links below!
