You are invited to participate in a brief survey to help us better learn how underrepresented racial and ethnic minority students are engaging in civic activities and identify ways to support student’s civic engagement activities. You may also be asked to participate in a short interview.
The research investigators of this study are Earlise Ward, Ph.D., LP, Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Faculty Director of the Morgridge Center for Public Service. And CC Vang a graduate student in the School of Human Ecology and Program Assistant at the Morgridge Center for Public Service.
To take part in this study, you must self-identify as American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Black/African American, Latinx college student aged 18 or older. Participation requires approximately 15 for the survey and 15 minutes for the interview. The survey and interview are confidential and voluntary. The interview although it will be recorded will also be confidential because we will not use your name or any other identifying information. All data will be stored in a passcode and firewall protected storage. Please do not include your name or other information that could be used to identify you in the survey responses or in the interview. This study is approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of University of Wisconsin-Madison. You can contact IRB at 608-265-4312 if you have concerns.
