Seeking licensed RN in Milwaukee Area for Temp Research Position

RN Research Associate  – Temporary Grant-based Position:  0.3 FTE for 18 months w/ flexible hours

Advocate Aurora Health is looking for an RN to serve in the position of “Research Associate” to work under the supervision of the site Principal Investigator (Dr. Hook) for the MOVIN Study.  This study is a partnership with Drs. Barb King and Linsey Steege from UW-Madison, funded by an AHRQ R01 Grant.

The RN Research Associate will be responsible for conducting and tracking the data collection for patients recruited at the site including 40 participants before the MOVIN intervention launch, 80 patients during the MOVIN intervention period, and 40 participants after the MOVIN intervention period for each study unit (160 patients total). He/she will be involved with in-hospital data collection, phone call data collection post-discharge and in-person data collection at 3-months post-discharge (typically limited to weekdays). The Associate will focus on completing the patient visits in their community dwelling places in the greater Milwaukee area with travel reimbursement @ $0.58/mile.  Training provided, research experience a plus.

Graduate Students: This is a unique opportunity to work with a clinical nurse researcher to learn the intricacies of the clinical research process with inside experience with collecting data for a grant supported research study.

Non-Advocate Aurora nurses will be hired through Diversified Inc. (AAH Temp Agency).
