The Writing Center – Spring 2021

The Writing Center continues to operate fully online this semester, bringing students all the services that we offer when we operate face-to-face. Find out more about our Undergrad Writing Groups, Workshops, as well as our one-to-one instructional services–Virtual Meetings and Written Feedback Appointments. Additionally, we are actively recruiting students for next year’s Writing Fellows program.

UNDERGRADUATE WRITING GROUPS

Join one of our Undergraduate Writing Groups for encouragement and a supportive online space as you navigate your writing projects. You’ll have the opportunity to log dedicated writing time each week and work through challenges with a community of their peers. A friendly, experienced Writing Center instructor will help you set goals, structure your work time, and check in about progress each week.
The Writing Center is offering two options for weekly ONLINE undergraduate writing groups this spring.

Tuesdays 4:00-5:30 PM CST
Wednesdays 4:00-5:30 PM CST
Students can sign up for an undergraduate writing group by filling out this interest form.
If you have questions about these writing groups, please contact Mia Alafaireet at alafaireet@wisc.edu.
