The LGBTQ in STEM panels are a collaboration between the Graduate Leadership & Development Committee (GLDC) and the Gender and Sexuality Campus Center (GSCC) at UW-Madison. These panels aim at addressing the low representation of LGBTQ graduate students in STEM, along with the barriers of racial discrimination and sexism in the scientific community. The goal of these panels is to provide an outreach opportunity for LGBTQ grad students to share their experiences about being in STEM with undergrads who want to pursue STEM careers.
Panels take place on Wednesdays from 10:00 to 11:00am.
