FAFSA Frenzy – The 2021/2022 FAFSA is Now Available!

The 2021-2022 FAFSA opened on October 1st and uses federal tax information from 2019. UW-Madison has a December 1st priority date for the FAFSA.

To assist students in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Office of Student Financial Aid is hosting a VIRTUAL FAFSA Frenzy with events throughout the fall semester.  Students should preregister using this link, https://go.wisc.edu/3018sj, and if you attend the session you will be entered in a drawing to win a Target gift card.

YOU SHOULD HAVE READY…

  • A computer with internet access
  • Your FSA ID. Forgot what yours is? Visit fsaid.ed.gov.
  • Your 2019 Federal tax information. If you don’t have access to your parents’ information, we can still walk you through the process.

Office of Student Financial Aid will HAVE…

  • A team of FAFSA experts to answer your questions and help you through the application.

FAFSA Frenzy will take place from 12pm-2pm on October 16, 23, 30, November 6, 13, 20, and December 4 & 11. These events have all been added to the Nursing Student Events Feed, so they will appear with their online link in the Weekly Digest sent to all students on Monday morning, or you can check them all out now by following this link.
