Financial Wellness Events

The Office of Student Financial Aid has heard from many students about the challenges related to money management skills and financial literacy – to help students with this, they have developed several events to provide students with financial wellness information and resources. Mark your calendars for these upcoming financial wellness events!

Credit Management with UW Credit Union.
What: Come listen to a talk given by Erin Bykowski of UW Credit Union. Specifically, the session will look at what is credit and what makes up your credit scores and credit reports. Erin will also provide tips and advice on how to successfully manage your credit if you’re in a tough situation.
When: This Thursday, Sept. 17 at 5pm-6:30pm CT

FREE Express Credit Check-up
What: Gain a better understanding of your finances with an Express Credit Checkup. During this confidential, no-cost, 30-minute appointment, you meet one-on-one with a UW Credit Union financial specialist to review your credit report. Some of the topics the financial specialist can help you with include learning how to improve and maintain a good credit score, find ways to save time and money, and build confidence in your finances. These appointments are SPECIFIC to your financial situation and needs!
When: Times vary starting next week Monday, Sept. 21st through Thurs., Sept. 24th

You will have to log in with your netID on the registration site since we are using campus’s registration tool.
