To all School of Nursing students:
HIPAA training is required for all students. Typically, the UW Office of Compliance offers a new course every year. However, due to Covid-related matters, it has decided to delay the release of a new version until approximately summer 2021. If you are a continuing student and have already completed the 2019-20 version, you are still in compliance and do not need to take an additional course at this time. You can look up your training status here.
If you are an incoming student, you will need to take the 2019-20 class in Canvas. It is available here.
