If students have questions about financial aid or are concerned about being able to financially support themselves due to changes during COVID-19, they can contact Pahoua Xiong, a Financial Aid Advisor in UW’s Office of Student Financial Aid. Students can schedule and appointment with Pahoua using Starfish or contact her directly at 608-262-7345 between 10am – 2pm, Monday-Friday.
Students experiencing financial hardships are invited to submit a request for funding through the Student Center (Request Action) or by emailing finaid@finaid.wisc.edu and indicate “Covid-19” in the subject. No FAFSA or financial aid offer is required for this funding request. The Financial Aid office will review the requests every day and follow up with students once the request is reviewed.
