gALPHA Social Justice Program

gALPHA Social Justice is a free 4-week program for UW-Madison students committed to making a positive impact in the world. The program is sponsored by the American Family Insurance Institute for Corporate and Social Impact. The goal of the program is to work on capacity building to execute social justice initiatives.

Beginning at kickoff and continuing each week of the program, gener8tor staff meet one-on-one with students 2x per week to whiteboard social justice problems and solutions, conduct market research, set goals around execution, teach how to validate a design with beneficiaries/customers, and teach how to communicate about social justice solutions both verbally and in writing.
