The AHEC Community Health Internship Program (CHIP) provides a partnership with local health departments, tribal health centers, community health centers and community service agencies to develop research projects and provide mentoring for health professions students interested in an intensive summer experience in community health. This year’s CHIP Program runs from June 1, 2020 – July 24, 2020.

The AHEC WI Express program gives health professions students a unique opportunity to become immersed in Wisconsin’s diverse communities and cultures, while they explore health care delivery and public health in medically under-served areas, learning with and from students in other disciplines.
