Through the generosity of donors to the Midwest Nursing Research Society Foundation, MNRS is able to offer nurse researchers funding opportunities to further their work and contribute to the profession of nursing science.
The Foundation and Grants Review Committee urges you to apply for one of the grant opportunities offered solely to MNRS members. Grant applications open September 6 – November 18.
Founders’ Circle Dissertation Grant – Encourages dissertation research that advances nursing science and practice. Funds are available for qualitative and quantitative research on any topic relevant to nursing science. The grant will be funded up to $2,500.
Buckwalter Dissertation Grant – Supports the research development of budding scholars in the Midwest Region, especially those with interests in cancer and depression. The grant will be funded up to $2500.
MNRS/CANS Dissertation Grant – Encourages qualified nurses to contribute to the advancement of nursing through research and science. All applicants must be an active member of MNRS and CANS. The grant will be funded up to $2,500.
Seed Grant – Supports researchers in the Midwest that advance nursing science and practice. Funds are available for quantitative and qualitative research on any topic relevant to nursing science. The grant will be funded up to $10,000.
