Heartland Hospice Care is actively seeking pre-nursing and nursing students to help serve patients in and around Madison and the surrounding communities. The attached documents provide full details. Volunteers gain experience in patient contact and direct-care hours by building relationships with patients and bringing a kind of peace during the end-of-life process. All volunteers have complete access to help, networking, and possibly shadowing staff members.
