Volunteers Sought for Summer Camp for Adults with Muscular Dystrophy

The With a Little Help organization is looking for nursing student volunteers for the program’s summer camp the week of July 27.

With a Little Help seeks to expand recreational opportunities for adults with muscular dystrophy and related neuromuscular conditions by providing an annual week-long summer camp, weekend camps, and various other recreational activities throughout the year.

No previous special training is required of volunteers. First time volunteers will be interviewed and go through orientation and training prior to camp. The main qualification of volunteers is that they have a big heart and a genuine desire to help others enjoy life. It is indeed a truly unique experience and opportunity for all. Individuals can volunteer for the full week or part of the week.

Visit the program website for more information and to sign up as a volunteer: https://walh.org/
