Good Shepherd Volunteers recruits and supports full-time volunteers who use their talents to serve women, adolescents, and children in a variety of social service agencies. Our volunteer positions are in New York City, New Jersey, and Los Angeles as well as abroad in Thailand. Good Shepherd Volunteers live in community with each other, receive a small stipend, and practice the 4 Tenets of GSV: social justice, community, spirituality, and simplicity.
Our site in Thailand, The Care Center, is a multifaceted semi-residential health clinic for patients living with HIV/AIDS. They are in need of a nurse to assist their patients. We have been searching for the right candidate for this placement, and we would be thrilled to receive applicants from University of Wisconsin-Madison .
