Each year, the School of Nursing honors outstanding spring BSN graduates who:
- are concerned, caring people
- are well-rounded in personal and service-oriented commitments but with recognized academic accomplishments
- have overcome significant difficulties to attend school
- and/or have completed an important and innovative project to improve the health of the community.
We invite all UW-Madison nursing students, faculty, and staff to nominate a graduating nursing student who fits these criteria by offering 2-3 sentences below about why they should be recognized with a University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Nursing pin. Students may also nominate themselves. A small committee of faculty, staff, and alumni will review nominations and select finalists. Awards will be presented at the BSN Graduation Celebration and Alumni Welcome on April 30 from 4:30 – 6:30 pm.
Nominate online at https://uwnursing.formstack.com/forms/student_pin_nominations_copy.
The deadline has been extended to this Friday, March 15. Please submit all nominations by 11:59 on Friday.
