Fake Weed, Real Problems: Coagulopathy and Synthetic Cannabinoids in Wisconsin

Summary:
Since March, there have been over 250 cases of brodifacoum (a long-acting anticoagulant rodenticide) poisoning related to synthetic cannabinoid use nationally. Wisconsin has had over 80 cases. The presentation will present an overview of the outbreak as well as a discussion of some of the challenges when investigating an outbreak related to synthetic cannabinoid use.
